OK, TREY, LISTEN VERY CAREFULLY:
I'm not familiar with photobucket, so i'll tell you how i resize pics... It's in paint. first, save the original pic to your computer where you can find it. Then open the folder it's in, and hover over the pic to see the current size (when you hover your mouse over the icon of the pic, a little box should appear that tells you the file attributes). Remember how many pixels it is. Then, open the picture up in paint. On the top toolbar, click IMAGE. Then click STRETCH/SKEW. Now this is the tricky part. under horizontal AND vertical, put in the percentage you want the picture to be. For example, if the pic is not 1000x1000 pixels, and you want it to be 500x500, you would put in 50% on both horizontal and vertical. This way, you don't lose any of the picture, and it resizes it for you. Then, save your picture and upload it to this website like celacanthr told you.
Hope that wasn't too confusing. You might have to play with it at first, but you'll get the hang of it.
