Per your question about Kip's tort being a slow grower there are actually 4 types of torts (or supposed torts) in circulation right now. There is the ORA tort (aka California tort, Schweb tort, etc) like Kip's and mine in this thread. There is also an Oregon Tort which is a slow to medium grower and a Seattle tort which is an extremely slow grower. There is one other type of Tort that only a few people that I know of have ( RobZ & va_reefman who are big East Coast SPS guys) that they are calling the Myagi tort but I am not sure if that one is really a tort. Some people will tell you that the Oregon & Seattle torts are the same but they grow differently and look different to me. Steave Weast may be able to shed some more light on the tort thing as he is in the center of the Tort triangle out there?

So there is a big bunch of em and a big history behind them. Maybe steve will chime and shed some light. Thanks for the explanation it was kind of confusing.
I have found a portland tort for 60 and a ora ca tort for 25, about a 2 in frag. I don't plan on getting one quite yet, but is that a good deal?
