I always found it interesting that they are called "Green" Mandarins. Mine has a small hint of green on the face but the rest is Orange, Pink, Blue & Yellow.

Have any of you had problems keeping Manderines I am on my 3rd one hope he makes it . They last about a month or so then croke. I have tons & tons of pobs for him to eat whats there problem.:notsure: :notsure: :notsure:

when i first got mine he was already skinny i didnt realize that they were suppose to be so chunky..... i thought he was starving too..... but ive added more LR since then and he has learned to eat frozen brine/mysid shrimp which has fattened him up alot..... they are tricky need lots of LR and an established tank

Ill get pictures of my manderin, I got him hoping I had enough pods in my tank and I am glad he didnt die from hunger he is my 1# fav fish in my tank.
