Hi all!! I am looking for a good lfs near me. I am in Barneveld, NY, which is about an hour from Syracuse, 1 1/2 from Albany, and 2 1/2 from Rochester. I have 2 small stores near me, but I am a little leary of buying livestock from them, and want to visit other places before I get my first fish!! Almost done with the cycle, Ammonia is Zero, with no other spikes yet. Does it usually happen like this?
Thanks!!

Order your fish from SWF.com
They are good prices and good specimins. At least the ones I've recieved. If you want to swing up to Rochester go to The Reef Shoppe. It's so sick.

I live in Utica, NY. There is one on Oriskany St. West in Utica. he has some nice SW fish, but a lil bit on the high side. I know there is one in Rome on Blackriver Blvd I believe.

The Reef Shoppe is awesome for hard to get corals. Another hour down the road is Pet Mart in Batavia, great drygood pricing.
SWF.com is hard to beat though for pricing.

While you're in the area, Caribbean Forest is just around the corner and down the street. They don't have as many sps, but still have a lot of other stuff, fish included. I prefer the Reef Shoppe personally, but still worth a look.
