Lighting and SPS ???

Just wondering ...:thinking:
I have 2x250w 10,000k mogel mh and 4x40w no act. and a total of 660w on a 6' 125G tank.
Is there any SPS that I can keep under these conditions??? Just wondering because i'm thinking of redoing my tank and just trying to find out what my options are. THX
at the moment I have mostly softies and some LPS

Hmmm. thx kip! there is only one problem with that. if I add another MH (Which I have have a mind in doing) It would have to go over my center brace. wouldn't that be a problem??
would most SPS color in right under my current lighting or would that stay that brownish color??

yeah my center brace is plastic!:rolleyes:
so anything else (with the exception of Acro) would be fine and color up OK as long as i don't stick them in a corner somewhere?? cool
Is ther anything else i could do the get around that stupid brace?? maybe higher Wattage MH???

I've heard of that but not to sure about it?
I know your setting up a new tank that you had made. What was the name of that CO? How my did you Pay (if you don't mind me asking)? Maybe I should just replace the tank?
this is another thing I'm thinkin about because it is not drilled and I have a very much hated esternal Overflow and I would like to drill my closed loop into the DT?
Maybe that is my best bet?

what about plexiglass tanks or acrylic or watever the tanks are if u dont get glass. with MH isnt that like plastic? 2-3 MH above them wont that mess it up?
im asking cause i have a 100gallon tank comming heh and ima have reef with like 2-3 250watt and VHOs over it in canapy

If you have fans blowing air across the water surface and the MH bulbs are not directly above the tank brace(s) then you'll be fine.
