Lighting apparatus questions

I bought a new tank and it is a TruVu system with the filtration in the back. It has those black plastic flourescent light holders on top covering the openings.
I have a Rose Bubble Tip Anemone that I will be transferring over to the new tank but I am very concerned about the lighting. Right now I have it under a Corallife 2x96 watt pc lighting and it is doing great.
Is there any way to change out the ballasts in those housings so that you can put PC lighting or something better in them.
I thought before that I would have both the lousy flourescents and put my other lighting on top also, but there is no way I can fit all that on top.
Anyone have any ideas about how to get enough light into the tank for the BTA??
