Sure :)
Two 250 watt MH and 2 65 watt Actinic 03 PC's.
175's will work fine however...
250's will work on your next tank too.
250's have more options for bulbs.
250's cost only slightly more than 175's

Thanks for the reply
What about the heat generated by the 250s? I may have a problem anyways because my aquarium is around 79 to 80 degrees with out a heater. Do you have to use a chiller? I wanted to try and stay clear of a chiller.
Thanks SMooTH

If the canopy has heat vents and you employ the use of a couple good fans heat can be dealt with.
Since you in Jacksonville (just noticed) a sump (and more fans)would be a really good asset against heat.

So you dont think I will have any problems. Plus I like the Idea of buying lights that could be used in a larger tank, which I am already thinking about. I will be building a hanging light system. Do you think I could could still use the glass top on top of the aquarium would the light go through or reflect back up. I want the 12,000 MHs
Thanks 4 your help

i would say that if you are going to build your own canopy, to hang it from pulley's that way whenever you wat to get into the tank you can pull down on th epulley, and latch a hook onto some chain, and the canopy will be suspended up much higher. i would also say use the 250w mh's i personally liek the AB bulbs that are 10K because they actually burn at about 13K. make sure to wire in the canopy a couple fans, and ditch the glass tops, this will increase evaporation, but will also help to keep the tank cooler. im a big fan of the light on a pulley thing. i will try to draw a pic of what i am talking about and will take pics of my canopy over thanksgivign to let you see what i have done!
good luck
