Ok i think i changed my mind again on my lighting situation.
Would 570w VHO be better than 380w VHO plus 150 of MH?
Im not sure i want to go the MH route.
I like my VHO bulbs. I dont care about tough to keep acros and such...maybe some easy SPS but not anything too tough.

The MH might be slightly better for even the easy to keep SPS. If you stick to moderate light corals you'll be fine.

Then maybe you can help me out....
Im getting differeing readings on my two different thermometers.
I got a free Digital thermo from my lighting order. it read 83.1 with 4 VHO bulbs on and no heater.
but my mercury thermo was well under that.....what should i rely on?

All I can suggest is to get a third opinion as a tie breaker. Take the digital thermometer to the fish store and compare its reading with theirs.

I have a 44 galon pendagon tank i have 17 wwats of light shinigh straigh at my live rock i have about 15 pounds of loive rock with 6 fish. Can i add an anemone?. and how do i feed it?

17? if so then, not a chance. You need more like 300watts maybe more(going on my research)
