The "Black Skirted Limpet"?
True Limpets are algae grazers.
Keyhole Limpets can sometimes eat the skim off Leather Corals.
There are Skirted Limpets and Skirted Keyhole Limpets.
Please tell me,what do they say is bad about them?I was given one the other day I think.I was told it was a sea hare, but I'm thinking it's a black limpet. It has a shell under it's tissue..if you touch it,the tissue recedes to show the shell.

no trying to start a debate but in calfo and fenner's reef invertabrates they say that black limpets are bad and can reproduce rather quickly
Sounds like a good subject to debate IMO.
Is there a picture? Are they confusing a Black Limpet with a Black Keyhole Limpet?
