Im interested in getting one of these for my tank, i have read that they are difficult to care for. Any special requirements or tips for caring for these guys?

You passed the first step of spelling the name correctly 
They are VERY very sensitive to salinity changes.
They eat the bacterial slime found on surfaces so a lot of rocks (surface area) to graze is needed.
Other than that I think the blue ones are the most difficult and the multiflora the least difficult.
