I am going to test my proceedure for hatching to see if it works better than last time
I tried moving Dad to the fry tank but he was too freaked out to care for the eggs.

Bang couldn't you rig up like a trickle water exchange into a 10 gal or something in your lagoon so that none of the babies get out and not too many of the rotifers escape?
Here is another idea: put plastic wrap over the 10 gal., and cut holes in the plastic, then cover the holes with cheese cloth, so none of the babies or food escapes, but enough water can circulate and let light in. Then throw the whole tank completely submerged in the lagoon.

Excellent!!!!! Looks like great progress.
Too bad you couldn't but the other eggs in the fridg to slow down hatching. Sorry you can't be there to help the next batch.

They didn't hatch last night as I expected. I think I'll put the larvae that hatch tonight in the Rotifer culture vessel until I get back.
