little white swimmers

So if you saw my other threads, all of my fish have died in my tank over like the past month. I was sitting down looking at my tank today when I noticed these really really tiny white things swimming around. They were very small, I tried to take a pic but they were so small they didn't really show up. What do you think they can be? I saw like 3 or 4 of them swimming about an inch or so from the bottom of the sandbed.

Without a picture It is impossible to tell, there are so many tiny white things...from copepods to parasites.

I'd guess pods. I just started culturing them in a 1/2 gal jar and they're all through the water column, but most of them "swim" around just above the bottom.
Their swimming movements are kind of jerky - almost like hopping. If that's what they're doing, I'd say that's what you've got.
(A good thing, btw.)

ok so i tried to take a pic again and there is no way i can even see them in the picture, that's how small they are. but they look like they have a round body and a tiny little tail. sound familiar? I also saw some swimming against the wall of the tank where there is some algae growth.

You can see those!! I see dots dancing. The only time I see a copepod is a picture like that.

More or less, they are the biggest food source and one of the basics of the food chain in the ocean. They also eat detritus and help to keep your tank healthy.....
