Live Rock Choices

Currently my local stores are offering live Fiji rock and Florida gulf coast rock and I've seen several online including Bali and Caribbean. What you recommend any of these? What kind do you use? And lastly, is it ok to mix any of them?

Tell you the truth.... I don't know what kind I have.... I know that recently I bought slab LR cause I wanted shelf's for my corals to sit on....... But other then that, I just got what ever the LFS offered. I don't like branch at ALLLL....
It really boils down to what you like, and what look you are trying to achieve!

Yo ucan mix whatever you want.....how much is the rock at your lfs???
The best thing about havin a lfs is you can pick out your own shapes....this way you can get pieces that will be able to be placed together
you can buy dead base rock though....and just seed with some live (cheaper)

5 per lb of the Fiji and I think the same for the Florida at the local store. I found (OOPS, No competitors please)that seems to have decent prices and several choices of rock. They sell everything in 25lb packages though.

Mix away it won't hurt a thing...I hand picked every rock in my tank....for the shape and how it looked or for the nice purple already on it. I went mostly with the Fiji....it just looks better to me. Some dead coral also looks pretty awesome.
