i go to greece every summer and if i get liverock from the beach there when i get home can i put the rock in the established aquarium? its an 10 hour plane ride.

From what I have read on the board, you should put it in a 5 gallon bucket with a powerhead and do water changes for like atleast 4 days, just to make sure there is no more die off.

I think it will be fine. They ship LR overnight all the time.
Put wet paper towels over it to keep it wet. Should work out great.

Always cure it again and make sure there is no ammonia spike. If you put it in your tank and it causes an ammonia spike, you are going to have big problems.

I think your first problem is going to be customs.

Customs isn't going to let it through I don'tthink. You'd better call and see what you have to setup in advance.

Yes you can. It takes longer than that for most of us to get home from the LFS. I bet you will get some pretty cool stuff on the rock.
Do they have any problems with pollution near the beaches ?

no and what about a 2 hr ride

IMO you are fine as long as you keep it wet. The less time its out of the water the better.
