live rock

just got a new shipment of live rock, 50#s very good condition, failed to rinse them, got exited, is this going to be a problem ? cycling for one week now.also, what flourescent light bulbs should i use? thank you in advance.

No problems will come from not rinsing them.
Watch for black spots (dead sponge) they can really smell up a whole house if you don't scrub it out.
Tell us more about your lighting, ballast, PC, NO, VHO?
