Yeah, there just deflated. Thats what mine looked like also.
My FS does that at night time someitmes to0, before it closes up.
I guess you just have to see it in person to understand....they are deflated YES, but not normal deflation...

Long tenticles are VERY prone to bacteria infections. Seems that if they get a tear in their flesh, they die. If you can find a healthy one, and it doesn't tear in transport, or tank placement is your best chances. But even things as simple as the LFS guy took it out of the water to bag it, and it's own weight pulled it and tore it, are all to common.
(Same applies to bubble corals)
Cranberry had the best advice but since it didn't work on hers, then I have little hope for yours.
Bacterial infections are combatted with iodine. You can "try" a lugol's dip. Just to say you did all you could, but as everyone says, it looks to far gone...
