I'm pretty sure that mouth serves a purpose.
Most corals if not even all, I cant think of one anyways that doesn't, have mouths....but do they thrive without being fed? Yep. Is it good to feed them? Yep. An anemone will get up and move if it decides it wants to. Feeding, not feeding whatever. Sometimes as corals grow out, the flow changes. Mr. BTA decides he just cant stand it there any more, he packs up the dishes and relocates. You change the color of the MH's, again, the neighborhoods going to the dogs, he relocates....You never know when ones going to relocate and possibly kill anything in it's path. Stinging corals along the way as they are stinging it. Plopping down right on top of your beautiful 2 y.o. supernatural monti colony and setting up shop. With the armed militia towing a short rope behind to defend the home-front from the ginormous hand god that comes to retaliate...
I don't own one anymore....nor will I unless it's a anemone only set up...
