Look up red spotted sandperch...this fish is hilarious to watch, or should I say watching it watch you.....Last night it was swimming in and out of a cave and doing flips....

In my tank my starry blenny has the most personality...
He's cute and moody, so it's always fun to watch. He's not the prettiest, but as far as personality, he's friggin awesome!!

I loved the personality my longnose hawkfish had. Very cool fish.. The only issue is that if you plan on having shrimp in the tank (anything smaller than a blood or skunk cleaner shrimp), they probably won't last long. I watched it annihilate one of my pom-pom crabs one day (worth it).

i really want a hawk..but i dont want it gobbling up firefish, baby clowns, or any other fish i plan to have that may start out small. im willing to risk my shrimp...he is pretty big and hopefully the hawk will be small to start with so he will get used to it in there. what do you guys think about the hawk being a risk to other fish? (tiny firefish, clown gobies)

The clown goby should be fine as I'm pretty sure they're toxic for a fish of comparable size to try and eat. And as for other small fish, I really wouldn't worry about it.

I have a spotted hawkfish and I really like his personality. Like you said they follow you all around with their eyes. Mines not too lazy he swims to wherever I am to see what I'm up to, lol! He's one of the most aggresive in the tank and always messes with the newbies BUT he's the oldest in the tank too. This month he turned a year for us-got him last July. He's been really hardy also, I had my first tank crash last year and he lived when everyone else died, so he's our holocaust survivor:) Let us know how you end up liking him.
