Looking for an In-Line Mechanical Filter ?

I am looking for an in-line filter (mechanical) that I can plumb into my system. Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts? I have found a couple out there, but I am surprised there is not more. It would have to be rated for 1000gph. Thanks!

I was looking to the 'Nu-Clear Aquarium/Water Canister Filter'.
Model 530 - 30 sq. ft. 25 Micron Mechanical Filter
"The 30 sq. ft. 25 micron cartridge has 20% more surface area than other similar filters. The cartridge traps particles larger that 25 microns and polishes the water crystal clear. The cartridge can be cleaned and reused."
"Nu-Clear filters have 1" FNPT inlet and outlet ports allowing for higher flow rates (up to 1,200 gallons/hr) than similar filters with 3/4" ports."
The only issue I have is they say "The Nu-Clear 500 Series Modular Canister Filters are appropriate for aquariums 50 gallons and up for ponds 300 gallons and up."
My system is a 110g, but as long as it handles the flow I do not see a reason why I would be limited to 50g?
Thoughts?

reason you shouldn't be surprised is that the hobby generally doesn't use mechanical filtration, especially none inline
