I just riped my RBTA's foot, prob a 1/2 in hole in it moving a rock. Is there any chance of its survival? If so what should I watch for to remove it????

I am not an expert, can offer advice. They can recover, how bad is the tear? First of all provide pristine conditions and leave it alone, do not disturb it further, will just make matters worse. They have been known to recover from encounters w/ powerheads. I did the same thing a long while back, it was just a tiny tear, I panicked too but mine never even showed signs of stress, I was lucky. So stay calm, post a photo if you can. Happy to help if I can

Where she sits I cant photograph her... but her foot is re-attaching to the rock around her... and I am leaveing her alone. I also was doing a water change right before the incident, so I believe my water conditions to be ok..... x fingers!!!!!!

That's good to hear, they are pretty resilient when kept in a healthy system. I will keep my fingers crossed too.

I've cut RBTA in half before with little problem. I don't think a 1/2" tear is going to be a problem.

On the contrary, a torn foot on some could be a death sentence. There are so many factors that come into play, overall health of the anemone, conditions in which it is kept etc. I'll bet the one you propigated was in excellent health. I always hope for the best but prepare for disaster, you never know with anemones, so many are being improperly kept.

not until its turning to mush/disinigrating. You will need a net to scoop it out.

Whole foot attached is good. How long has it been deflated. It is normal for them to do this from time to time.
