Mandarin's are one of the most difficult fish to keep because they are such picky eaters. They almost always will only feed on live pods that live in your sand bed and live rock. You need to usually have a very well established tank with a good pod population and a great deal of live rock. They many times end up starving to death because people can't keep their pod population up for a long period of time. Many times people end up suplimenting pods from another tank or feed baby live brine. Basically, don't get one unless your tank is ready and you have the dedication to keep it well feed.
