I guess I'm spoiled being able to go to either when I want to. Chavez has one thing I love though. Dodger Dogs. They are the best and you can afford them. Crap a family of 4 will cost no less than a couple hundred dollars once you add in tickets, food and a rally monkey. LOL, It's still fun and I hope these high paid guys don't ruin the baseball experience and make it affordable for only the elite. Almost all the Angel games are sold out and a field view seat that has a face value of 35-50 dollars are on stub-hub for 400+ a seat.
We went to LAA on fathers day 01. When they were playing the dodgers. And sat in the outfield 1st row leaning over the bullpens. It was a great game, and LAA came back and won off a 3 run homer, the rally money stuck that night. It was a great game.
But when I send to dodgers stadium, I paid in 2001 12 bucks for field level tickets, before the game (this was michael young's debut) the usher flagged the guy down and said, this you man (just graduated hs) traveled all the way from Texas just to watch his r angers play. I ended up getting a few autographs and pictures with a few of the players. Later I caught a ball lobbed into the stands by Ruben Sierra, and they would even let you move down to sit on the front row aslong as we didn't mess or bother with anyone. The stadium itself is alot older, has some nostalgia that the new and "rebuild" LAA can't offer. That and about 4 dodger dogs later. I had a blast. Going there felt like what baseball used to be in the 60's. When O'malley ran the team.
