Yours looks exactly like mine when it starts to grow. When It gets longer it pulls out like a clump of crab grass. I have not mowed the lawn lately

That's exactly what it reminds me of is grass. Maybe I need a "lawnmower blenny"

Looks like it could be some type of turtle weed. Chlorodesmis fastigiata

Whatever it is if it is not spreading and being invasive, let it be and enjoy it. Are any of your clean up crew showing an interest in it?
Plus every time you remove some you are removing some of the nutrients in your tank.

Spanko it the turtle weed soft? This stuff is very stiff. I have to take some out because it starts to get brown and looks crappy after a period of time.

I would think because of it's stiffness and the way it grows if is some sort of algae. But that is JMO.

cladophora prolifera
Family cladophoraceae
It is practically indestructable.
Shade their areas and block the light and maybe that will help get rid of it as it is a high light algae...

Maybe? It looks exactly like blades of grass. It doesn't string out long and thin like hair algae though. The "blades" are short, maybe 1/8" long, and wide and it doesn't spread "grow" fast at all. It's not on the glass or substrate, only on two different rocks on opposite sides of the tank. It looks really cool I would just like to know if it is good or bad.
You discovered a new species! Your make millions.

Your camera is fine. Take a picture in macro mode. See the little flower on the bottom of the menu button? Use it.

Oh so now you are a camera expert too.

Well, if they wanna call it an undiscovered sea grass, then I'll agree for a price... But if Jas gets ridiculed and laughed at, then I'll hafta fall back on "I told you so"...
