If you get a nice mated pair of clowns, be it whatever might be the most sucessful at reproducing, is it possible for them to reproduce in your display tank with out any special attention? Or would you other fish just make meals out of the fry if they actually did hatch?
Also, if they lay eggs and you just leave them be in your display tank, if they die off, will this die off mess with your parameters?
May be a stupid question, just trying to learn here...
thanks a bunch

If the eggs die the Clownfish will eat them.
If the eggs hatch and you leave the fry in the display tank they will either get stuck in a filter, become food for a filter feeder, or starve. They won't survive without special attention.
