Hey Jim, all arrived safe and sound. So far the only fatality was the crab
. Purple Haze opened in minutes
. I'm extremely satisfied. I'll post pics when I get a chance. Thanks again. Justin

Ah man, too bad about the crab......
Acro crabs are one of the few crabs I'll allow in my tanks, really cool, they kinda just sit there, waving their claws. When I was fragging the mother colonies I made sure to take special care so that the crabs would survive....It was 50/50 if they would survive shipping and impossible to get them out...

Here are the pictures. Jim, if you help with the identification of the corals that would be great. Maybe a placement suggestion too. Thanks.
Eden Micro (sorry the pic is bad...so this one should be moved closer to the light over the next couple of days, correct?)

Now these are the ones I am not sure about.

I'm guessing another type of acan?

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Max, that is fantastic macro photography. Is there a source for those crabs? They are awsome looking, but probably so small my old eyes would never see them without your photographic talents.

Thank you.....Some acro crabs are good sized, maybe the size of a dime.......People say that once an Acro crab is forced from it's home acro that the crab will die.....I have to serioulsy debate the claim as I've had crabs move from colony to colony, even whitnesses a little turf war one day or they were mating
. But it looked like another crab was invading another acro as there were 2 crabs in the colony, then the next day it was back to one crab per colony...

Are they opportunistic feeders stealing what the acro polyps catch?
Sorry to bug you, I'll do some serious google searching. Those little symbiotic relationships are too cool.

Max could you please answer me when I ask you a question.
I have asked you the same question three times and have not gotten a response. Will you or will you not be making a new frag pack?

It's a green goniopora that's really healthy...The dead area on the aqua blasto is due to the goniopora getting knocked ontop of it by a crab......The polyps extend about 1.5 inches in all directions, be carefull where you put that one...
.
IMO I would divide the blaso up, it's a really easy fragging job they grow rather quickly....Divide and trade is my motto...
.
Argh, just had a total brain lapse on the dome shaped one with green centers. Nothing special, actually sent by mistake as it was part of a fragging experiement, no big deal. Likes lower light and will become purple with soft green mouths, grows like a weed....

The really big blasto will eat small damsels
The green is almost toxic, higher light works best for this one. Feed each polyp on a regualr basis. This is also a good one to divide up and trade. Jim

The Acan lord is another fast grower as long as you feed it every other day. I like to use goodsized chunks of mysis, raw shrimp, damsels.....I think it has 5-6 full polyps? The eden Micro is so freakin incredible, feed it everyother day, use a variety of enriched brine or smaller mysis, in a few months you'll
have a dozen polyps, this particular coral sells for $70-80 per polyp all over the web,....Grow it and then trade
....Superbright light and loves to eat right before lights on...

It was actually in the process of opening up in that picture. The polyps extended even more over the next couple of hours. It looks really nice and healthy!
