Yes, they can get up to 6 inches accross. These are the hot ticket item right now. I have several other new ones too. I can't help myself.

Where can you get these? I would like to keep some when I get the new MH setup going. Right now, I only have PC and I need to stop buying
(cause it's just more to move haha).
I like them a lot. I don't see any locally in AZ at all.

They don't need high light like most anemones. They would be ok under pc if you have a decent amount of pc light.

Some of them require higher lighting to retain their coloration. The blue/purple one I posted is one of those, it will fade under low light. I could tell you where to find them if you PM me with your email address.

I have seen you on that other forum, is that the only place you have been getting them? Are you more into the maxi, or the mini anemones. I heard the maxi's are worth more but some prices don't seem to show that.

I am into both although right now I have more maxi than minis. The color drives the price. The most common coloration pink/green usually run $20. The solid red mini runs about $200. have seen private parties selling for slightly less. Maxi minis on the other hand... most common color is green, these can go for anywhere from $40-$100. More exotic colors can run $250 OUCH! It comes down to what are you willing to pay? I keep my eyes open and snatch up the ones I can afford at any given time LOL.
There are a couple online stores selling them now too. Even thought mini and maxi minis are increasing in avaliability, I don't see the price comming down any time soon unfortunately.
The advantage to owning these is that thay can be manually propigated with minimal loss, a very good thing don't you think?
