IT HAS BEEN CALCULATED THAT IF EVERYONE IN THE UNITED STATES DID NOT
PURCHASE A DROP OF GASOLINE FOR ONE DAY AND ALL AT THE SAME TIME,
THE OIL COMPANIES WOULD CHOKE ON THEIR STOCKPILES.
AT THE SAME TIME IT WOULD HIT THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY WITH A NET LOSS OF OVER
4.6 BILLION DOLLARS WHICH AFFECTS THE BOTTOM LINES OF THE OIL COMPANIES.
THEREFORE MAY 19TH HAS BEEN FORMALLY DECLARED
"STICK IT UP THEIR BEHIND DAY"
AND THE PEOPLE OF THIS NATION SHOULD NOT BUY A SINGLE DROP OF GASOLINE THAT DAY.
THE ONLY WAY THIS CAN BE DONE IS IF YOU FORWARD THIS E-MAIL TO AS MANY
PEOPLE AS YOU CAN AND AS QUICKLY AS YOU CAN TO GET THE WORD OUT.

THINGS LIKE FOOD, CLOTHING, BUILDING MATERIALS, MEDICAL SUPPLIES ETC.
WHO PAYS IN THE END? WE DO!
WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. IF THEY DON'T GET THE MESSAGE AFTER ONE DAY, WE WILL DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN.

I say let gas go to $5.00 a gallon so we will be forced to switch to fuel Cells. Once we make the switch the technology will become cheap and THEN and only then can we stick it up their backside.

If this happened and I was the gas station, I would raise my prices the next day, and every day after until people buy gas again. Lets face it, we have to have gas eventually.
Not that I am happy about buying gas, but is $2 a gallon that far off from the mid 80s with inflation taken into consideration.
As long as people continue to buy cars that get horrible gas milage, I do not think the gas companies will feel sorry for us.

I dont feel sorry for anyone with a v12 viper....or a v10 f350 dude you got the money for that then by all means fill er up....
For some odd reason texas gas has remained relatively low. I pay 25 bucks for fill up on a v6 ranger that can hold 16 or 17 gallons

I agree with you Bang! Right now the alternatives to fossil fuels are just so expensive that few people are willing to pay for it. Though they're also, not something that can entirely end the use of fossil fuels.

I was watching nightly news and for every penny that gas goes up the economy looses 1 billion dollars and the middle east and who ever else we are buying it from makes a billion. Talk about funding muslim extremist :confused:
I hae been to Saudi and it is one ugly place. So every time I fill up my tank full of gas I am paying for some Saudi to learn religious extremism since the young men don't work anyways.
