Well, I'm kind of surprise my daughter hasn't named her corycat and her snail in her fresh water tank. I name everything. Even my cars. i.e. my first car was an 87 Pontiac 6000 named Betsy, next one was an 85 Pontiac 6000 station wagon named Rosemary, then there was my GMC Safari named Animal, then my blue Hyundai Elantra wagon named Grover and now I have my white Honda Odyssey named Star. My grooming van which is 21 years old is named Lola and my new grooming van I will be getting is named Stella. So, that being said I see a tank full of named fish.
I think I will name the one spot blenny Grumbles, as they have such a grumpy looking face. if I do get my spotted mandarin I'm thinking of Gershwin. The rest of the fish my daughter pretty much picked out and will probably name. We've been looking at kittens to adopt and she has already picked out the name Gum Drop no matter who we pick LOL.
I had to look up the names of the fish from the tank in Finding Nemo. Neither hubby nor I could remember the name of the royal gramma. We were both surprised to see it was Gurgles! Of course that kind of reminds me of a slow death, so I don't think we'll have a Gurgles in the tank.
Hubby did say that maybe we should eventually do a Songebob themed tank with a pineapple sponge, a starfish, a crab, and a little octopus. I told him he's not allowed to drown the squirrel living in our roof to complete the cast.
