Hey guys I had to take a 4 hour class today on the McCafe speacialty coffee's today from McDonalds and all I got say is WOW I didnt hold to much stock in them as being very good myself just didnt see where they could be a good quality product. After today I gotta say they are great coffee drinks some of them are alittle strong and not as sweet as I like but all in all a very good product.
Has anyone else tried the McCafe line up? and what do you think about it?
This is a mutiple poll so you can vote for your favorite and what you think about it.
Thanks

Its a new thing they are just starting not all stores have it yet. each store has a 20K$ machine just to make these new drinks!!
here is a link the McCafe site so you can see what the drinks look like it may help on the concept of what they are doing.

I have their Iced Hazelnut latte from time to time. It's not bad at all and seems to have enough punch when it comes to caffeine.

Do you get the old version of it or the new version out of the McCafe system?

I just did a search on the McCafe site and according to that my Mickey D is not McCafe yet, but they already have that machine.
I forgot to say that I'm a coffee addict and to some extend efficianado (sp?). I grind my own coffee beans and I'm pretty specific on how my coffee needs to be :)

The old version is double brewered pre ground coffee. The new system uses fresh ground coffe made in espresso MUCH MUCH better than the other version of the same drink.

Sorry Mike, I thought you were asking a poll about the MacCaffee anti-virus software and just mispelled it.
I prefer Kasperky myself.
BTW do you prefer Michael or Mike?

LOL I have been called both along with many other things LOL either is fine though.
I have never heard os Kasperky?
I have stried starbucks and a few other like it and this rates about the same as far as quality BUT its about 1/2 the price of the other drinks that I have had.
BTW I can stand Macafee products never had any luck with them

My wife said to mention that Micky D's needs to work on consistency between different chains. She went to an ice coffee and it was way too strong. She asked for another one and they said that's the way it's made, sorry.

Sounds like you had your share of caffeine today Mike!

The 2 or 3 Mickey D's I frequent don't offer any of those drinks yet, but I would definatly try them if they ever start offering the specialty coffees in mre of their stores.

If she went to one with the McCafe system in place it is stronger because its made with fresh made espresso where the other is made with a pot of coffee ran through 2times to make it. I bet thats where the difference is OR it could be that one of the stores wasnt follwing the SOC panel that was issued on making it which is very possible.
I would say to tell her to come to my store but I see you profile says your in CA which would be a long drive to come get coffee LOL

ALL of the stores will eventually offer it in the next few months they are rolling out a several billion dollar investment into the new system. The greater southern region is all supposed to be rolled out by the end of next month. it takes a 3-4 day shut down to install the new equipment though.
O and yes we had to tast sample all the drinks including the new espresso only shot ***WHICH IS HORRID I dont see why people drink straight espresso LOL ***

Kaspersky is an anit-virus program. The ONLY one that I have used that does not slow my computer down.
So I have to ask, are you running a Micky D's now? Or what is the deal?

I have never heard of this. It isn't being advertised up here, not that I have seen anyway. Dunkin Donuts coffee is my favorite though
