McCosker's Flashers, Purple Firefish and Coral Goby . . . Oh My!

Added four new fish to my tank last night; presently I only had a single purple firefish in a 65 gallon system. I'd previously had three yellowfin flasher wrasses, a lawnmower blenny, the purple firefish, and a shrimp goby; lost them all except one wrasse, the purple firefish, and the lawnmower blenny when the sump crashed on me (stupid acrylic walls in a glass tank
). Lost the wrasse and the lawnmower blenny (at least I haven't seen him) when we reset the sump, so I've only had the one for awhile now.
Here we go; drip acclimating them:

Netting them into the tank:

Adjusting to the tank:

Firefish found himself a buddy right away:

Some additional pictures from today after they settled in . . .

So both the LFS and I thought both the McCosker's were females, when we looked at them in the LFS - seems we were wrong; which means I got an awesome price on a male McCoskers (only $24
)

Very nice
I love the mcCoskers flasher ! Don't have one , not sure how they'll do in a peaceful horse tank , but on the " want " list...hehe

Thanks Cleve_seahorse; I'm afraid I know nothing about seahorses, but the flasher wrasses are generally pretty peaceful - only thing I've seen any of the chase or nip at is same species.

Sorry to hear that meowzer - I had yellowfins once before, so I knew they were jumpers - I always keep a glass top on my tank, and even covered the overflow with eggcrate and fiberglass netting.

Thanks mboswell; I was amazed at how hardy the firefish are - I've got a buddy who could never keep them, but I've had good luck so far (knock on wood)

I had to take the glass off cause of heat, but I am using egg crate. didn't think anything would jump thru that tiny square...

Thats is the pits - somewhere I'd read that they would jump even through eggcrate, so I knew better. I'm currently running two 4 1/2" fans under my MH on my 65, and it's finally keep the temp right at 78

Huh? Not really much you can do at this point - hopefully you got it back in the tank ASAP - should've used your hands, not tongs, but water under the bridge at this point - cross your fingers and hope for the best.
