I thought that owning a genny was part of the fish hobby.

I think we own the loudest model known to man. It rattles windows three blocks away.

Our neighbors hate us when the power goes down.

I have one...BUT if power is gonna come back on in a short amout of time...why bother
I really needto get one that is built in the house somehow....LOL...BIG BUCKS!!!!

I love storms as well, the sound of thunder gives me happy shivers....But I always say a prayer because heavy rain is different than deadly tornatos. I was watching my 47" HD TV and watching the news....I saw the devistation like I was looking out a window, and I cried listening to all the sadness, the poor mad who was sleeping right next to his wife and now he can't find her anywhere and the poor families, their homes are gone. I can't even project how I would feel if it were me, so I say another prayer and hope they find their loved ones alive.

hey guys,haven't had internet in over a week.my house was hit by lightning 20 minutes after the last post to meowser .no fire thank god but ,it got super quiet like dead air .then a huge boom.like a stick of dynamite went off in our livingroom.fricken nuts.so no tv satellite or internet they were both fried.all the wires melted to the house.

WOW...sorry to hear that...BUT very glad it wasn't worse..
I would be freakin out though with no internet...LOL....I'M ADDICTED
