Reef I do believe that is the first time I've ever seen a pic of your rig. Did you ever do a build thread? How do you like the conversion from your previous lighting experiences?
No build thread. This was the light I started this tank with. Canopy was built with this rig in mind. Previous lighting is about every type of T5 lighting you can name and a few you can't. I ain't going back. I love these LED's.

Very cool ya'll. I read through the entire thread, quickly, of course. Besides the banter, it was a pretty nice read. I'm interested in building my own LED fixture for a tank in the future. I think my hopes of a 120g is going down the drain. I'll probably end up keeping my 20g for a long, long time and end up upgrading it constantly.
Besides a few concerns, I really like Danny's design. I think it will work very well. I can't wait to see some pics of it going above the tank and the lights getting officially turned on!

Well...Danny got the rest of what he needed to finish the light on Friday.....he says with about 1/2 a days work...(not including drying time) the light should be done
IT'S GUN SEASON

So who knows when that 1/2 a day is gonna happen :(

What concerns you Snake????
I didn't read it in the thread, but no one has mentioned to connect the aluminum frame to a true ground? Aren't you supposed to ground the frame??? I am just asking.
As far as the "few concerns" I was talking about what 2 quills and Mr. BTLDreef were talking about earlier in the thread.

WELL....Danny is actually working on the light today. He is home and goes on Nights tomorrow, so HOPEFULLY he will get something done.
Last time I spoke to him he had the holes cut and the 4 fans put in, and was getting ready to wire them

Meowzer.....May I ask what you might be trying to remedy???? How snug is the fit?
IDK...I didn't go out there and look.....he said it won't stay together
with the glue
I just asked him.....he said one corner will not hold...and it is as snug as snug can get BAHAHAHA....whatever that means
We need to see if we can get some vices......to possibly hold it good enough

Using vises/clamps to hold it together will cause a dry glue joint. Meaning you would apply the solvent and then the squeezing pressure would then force the glue back out of the joint, thereby causing a dry; weak joint.
If you can get a picture of the problem corner/joint, we might be able to cheat it a bit and back cut some material away to give a little wiggle room. Gluing black acrylic is a bit trickier IMHO. It's kind of a blind job, meaning you can't actually see the joint develop as you would with clear acrylic. Worse case scenario I do have some WeldOn 40 that would definitely work to fix the issue.,,,

I can't do anything until Friday...he will show me what he is talking about then....he did mention that if he had a big enough vise clamp he might be able to get it to work....
ARE you saying that a clamp WILL NOT work???

That's correct!!!! By him clamping and squeezing the joint tight either you will force the solvent/glue out of the joint or it won't allow the solvent to fully penetrate the whole joint/seam......
