LUV.....YES...it is amazing how different.....I also think it has to do with the color selections....remember, since we made our own we used different blues and whites......Right now it may be close to 20K because I have not turned all the blues....or whites up to their potential
Don't get confused with color spectrum and intensity. If you have everything at the same level right now and you turn them all up to their potential you will not change the color spectrum, just the intensity - PAR - value.

I got the new heater today....boy it's long.....LOL.....put it in the tank in the only spot I have.....I am going to wait a little while before I turn it on to make sure it adapts to the water temp......I really only need 1-2 degrees...lol
I have been trying to take pictures......I can not get them to show the tank as I see it......I have to play with some settings on the camera I guess

I must admit Meowzer you did walk into that one.......
Not a bad idea to let the thermostat on the heater to adjust before adjusting it......
As far as getting pics to truly represent what your seeing good luck!!!!! That's been an issue with most trying to get the camera to depict actually what your seeing. I have heard it might be easier to shoot your pics in the RAW format and then take it to and editing program and adjust form there....Maybe Cranberry could comment on that........

Happy New Years to you as well!!!!!!! There has been so many people fighting with cameras to get good shots representing or depicting their systems with the LEDs over them......

FYI Lois always shoots pictures in the RAW

Shooting in RAW does help, as well as setting the white balance. We don't have the greatest camera so that only helps us a little. LEDs are really hard to get good shots, it's about the only negative I've come up with for them so far

WELL....we got a controller that will eliminate the POTS and the timers......we will be hooking this up tomorrow.....Sinee we have no clue if the driver or the POT running the moonlights is what the problem is, this will help us find out
IF the moonlights run fine with the controller, we know it was the POT.....IF NOT, then we know it's the driver and I order an new one. I did receive an RA from the place I bought the ELN, BUT do not want to send it back until I know for sure

Sounds more and more like a power supply issue. It should be noted that the ELN 60 D's are not designed to run off of the controller you plan on using.

I was reading and LED thread today and similar symptoms on another build and turned out to be a soldering issue!!!!

Meowzer, the controller is preprogrammed for the HLG drivers, which run opposite polarity to the ELN's so you can't run both HLG and ELN on the same time. My husband can explain better than I, but as it's currently programmed, it won't solve your problem.
