I have a 70 watt MH and 2 24 watt actanics on my 12 nanocube and love that system. SPS corals are thriving. I think anything else is overkill and you will have a time with heat and evaporation.

i would go with the hang on 150mh i have that on a 29gl.the sun pod is close to the water the coralife mh you can adjust it higher giving you a better chance acclimating the corals to the new light, when i switched my corals from 195 watts pc to 150 mh lost a frogspawn and a few others started to bleach so i had to put them on the bottom i still only run my light 6hrs a day coralife has a 70watt mh just acclimate very slow

150 is deff. not too much light. I am in the process of building my 20L and put a 250watt HQI Hamilton Reefstar w 14k. Do you have a sump or anyway to do ATO? Just make sure that you acclimate all ur corals.
