Hey Miami, don't wanna jump all in your thread but, can someone link me to this 'eggcrate' mod so I can see how it works is there a write-up on it somewhere?

i think the chambers in back are built different in our tanks so mods wouldnt work.. Im sure, just set your up like i got mine... Been working awesome for me

Seems like postal carriers are breaking these tanks left and right. Gotta be careful with em. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out. Nano section is always giving advice!

Hey guys...Just keeping you up to date. My tank should arrive tomorrow, hopefully in one piece. I actually am recieving two. One for me and one for my brother, but now he backed out of it so I'm returning his. But if one is craked and the other isn't...good for me. I have to try to return the 10w submersable light that I bought though. But I'm still gonna start it up this weekend. I'll keep you guys updated on it tomorrow...and paintballer, where you asking me that about college?

I bought a 12g Ap with a Maxi-Jet 1200 and the Hydor FLO. I also have a 10w submersable light. I'm just trying to get everything that I paid for. I'll show you reciepts if you want. I'm looking for $180.....I gotta calculate it. That's off the top of my head

So, I decided to go with the chaeto with filter floss with the light in chamber 1, chemipure elite in chamber 2, purigen in chamber 3 and the pump in 4....what do you think?

Ok will do....I'll start doing the eggcrate now that I know exactly what I'm putting in. I just want this weekend to be here already so I can set this up .

Really don't know yet. I've always loved maroon clowns but I doubt I can find one small enough with an anenome to go in. I saw this sweet purple tang. Really just have to play it by ear and see what the LFS have.
As of corals, a clam. Isaw a perfect size for my tank. I really want a sun coral, shrooms, zoas. But we'll see.
I have some ideas for better flo without having to put a pump by the rock work. Hopefully it works. I'm gonna test it out on my 1st tank that I recieved cracked

So I recieved my tanks today. Let's compare the shipping difference from the first time to these.....
This was the 1st broken package

And these are the 2nd ones...HUGE boxes


Now what I did as upgrades so far was to swap the Actinic/Daylight lights so that the fans will turn one with the Actinic light. The next step I did was to take out the single fan that I have in the hood I'm sending back and put it into my hood facing the opposite way of the other fan. One to blow in cool air and the other to let out the hot air.
That's to you Whisk for helping me out with these ideas.
I will be doing a leak check and my following mods by this weekend....so stay tuned
