I'm quarantining 2 chromis right now. It was 3, but 1 died after 60 hours in QT for no obvious reason. It is now day 7 of QT and I have been doing the tank transfer method to rid them of ich.
On each transfer I look them over to check health and then put them in the new tank. Upon last transfer I noticed 1 of them had what looked like missing scales. It was a patch on both sides of the body in almost the same spot. It was not raised, but instead looked like the scales were gone.
No other obvious signs or symptoms.
Is this of concern, do I need to add a different treatment to the plan?
