Missing scales, concern?

I'm quarantining 2 chromis right now. It was 3, but 1 died after 60 hours in QT for no obvious reason. It is now day 7 of QT and I have been doing the tank transfer method to rid them of ich.

On each transfer I look them over to check health and then put them in the new tank. Upon last transfer I noticed 1 of them had what looked like missing scales. It was a patch on both sides of the body in almost the same spot. It was not raised, but instead looked like the scales were gone.
No other obvious signs or symptoms.

Is this of concern, do I need to add a different treatment to the plan?

The mysterious death is very likely due to harassment by the dominate chromis (usually the largest). He is now likely attacking the remaining fish.

Can you post a good pic of the problem area?

Jay and I have this convo every time Chromis pop up. They are a damsel, which means they have potential for aggression, maybe larger tanks they can group up, but I tried for a year in a 65 and lost 'em all.

Lol I still have one, nice big guy. Him and my black clown posture but push to shove the clown wins.

The largest one was the one to die. He was almost 3 times their size. The 2 left look like twins and have shown no signs of aggression. No nipped tails on anyone, just these two identical patches on his left and right sides.

Its weird its not obvious, but it is indeed the chromis. My last one has not a mark. Yet the other two slowly got beat to hell.

Well they are a bit cramped so maybe they will be fine when I get them in the tank. Only a few more days of TT and then I can put them in the QT which is bigger.
