Hey what LFS do you go to in BK. I'm in the BX and travel to BK acouple of times a week. I go to mamaraneck for most of my coral and am just looking for another good LFS.

Wow, very nice as usual. It seems as if you've added quite a but lately.
How's the trigger doing, I should be getting my blue throat trigger today hopefully to replace my niger trigger that jumped.
Love the superman danae, that's actually a large frag from others I've seen.
I think it's time to not buy corals for a couple of weeks and upgrade the camera, you can tell the tank looks a lot better than the pics allow.

I wish I could shop in Brooklyn, The prices are crazy here. A rock full of brown zoos can cost you $90, don't even ask for a toadstool if you don't have the cash to shell out. I don't even buy dry goods from them, I rather buy online, because the prices are cheaper, and the service is better.
GregM779 - The trigger is doing fine so far. He does bother any of the other fish. I have more problems with my yellow tang and Black tang, but the chevron doesn't bother the other tangs.
I have been thinking about a snapper, what do you think? The only thing about them is that they can get really big.

Snappers are a risk to any invertebrates and I've even heard of them eating whole corals. They dont just get big, they get huge most around 2.5 feet or so and they grow really fast. Someone actually sold me a malcolor niger, which is a type of snapper, when I had my 55g. I got rid of him when I finally found out what he was but had him for a month. He was cool and was always out swimming towards the top.
Your chevron will eventually become very territorial against any new fish that goes into the tank. Mine shows aggression for about a week and then everything is perfect. He just got done beating up my Tusk and it will start with the trigger today. I'm also going to add 2 more female anthias, I think they're getting those tomorrow.

What Kind of anthias are you getting? I love to see them in reef tanks. I'm looking into a flame hawkfish. Im also looking into a small yellow tail damsel. I hate when people use damsels to cycle their tanks. I want one for display because they are very beautiful creatures and shouldn't be for tank sacrifice.

The anthias are Squamipinnis or lyretail anthias. I already have a male and a female but the male looses a lot of color when there is only 1 female. Really cool fish and there's always a ton in every reef video I've watched.
Hawkfish are cool but I know of some that are insanely aggressive then again I've seen others that are extremely shy.

I really don't keep track of cost.
With equipment:
Good equipment is worth its weight in gold.
The most expense fish is my black tang
The coral prices range for Free to $120. I think the ppe are most expense coral. Slow grower. It grew two more heads in 5 months.
Tiny super danae frag - $80 on master card debit
Black tang $225 - on master card debit
Seeing your acro frag grow one inch in three months - priceless

I moving more into acros now. I stop buying zoos, soft corals, and lps. It is hard to put lps in my tank because I have a lot of flow.
Alevopora (looks like a flower pot) suffers when the Tunze wave box is on. When the wave box is off, he opens up like the pic above.
My next corals will be leng sy cap, and garf bonsia

The bubbles are more to the back, the Montis are closer up to the front. They are not close. Bubbles are close to the zoos though, so I don't know how that is going to work.
