mixing clowns

I've had a percula clown for almost a year now. I know not to mix certain types of clowns, but a local shop had a nice looking maroon clown on sale for $10. I bought it and sure enough the percula starting nipping at it right away. Before I could transfer tanks, the maroon was dead. What types of clowns do get along?

IMO, none
It is best not to mix clown species. You could try to get a mate for your percula (try to find one that is smaller).

yeah, don't mix diff clowns. but, you know that now

I had a clarkii almost a year ago. It was really nice looking. NO brown on it at all. They got along fine. I also notice the black and white percula on swf says they get along with other clowns. Anybody else mixing clowns?

Where's the Clarkii?
A Maroon will quickly kill your Perc IMO.
