Mixing shrimp

We just ordered a fire shrimp to add to our 55 gallon that has a cute little cleaner in it. After talking with our very rare and trusted LFS guy, he said they will be fine. Neither are territorial but the fire shrimp likes lots of rock and a good cave. Good luck

Just don't mix a coral banded shrimp with any other shrimp. Mine attacks the saron shrimp in my tank whenever they cross paths. I pity the saron shrimp the day that the cbs is fast enough to get ahold of it.

Scarlet Shrimp, Peppermint Shrimp, and Fire Shrimp are all classified as Cleaner Shrimps (Lysmata sp.) and they are perfectly compatible as long as they're not overpopulated and are all about the same size.

I had a pair of fire shrimp, a peppermint and a skunk cleaner in my old 55 and never had a problem.

I have a pair of fire shrimp (not that you ever see them) and a regular cleaner, never had the slightest problem.
