a little late to join this thread, but I think the Indians will beat the Rockies 4 games to 2 in the World Series.
I stick by my original prediction of Cleveland beating the Rockies 4 games to 2 in the Series. However, the Rox make me a little nervous considering they swept the d-backs too. maybe this break will cool them off a little. I'm happy no matter who wins though. Todd Helton deserves it!

every1 is saying that! Wakefield pitched good! any the orginal plan was to have lester pitch after wakefield anyway, he did and pitch amazing. Becket is pitching tommarow when it matter and it gives schilling and Dice-k an extra day, which they need

i've always thought he was over-rated, but this year he has come close to proving me wrong. hopefully he will completely prove me wrong by beating beckett.
if the sox can beat sabathia, carmona, and then westbrook all in a row, then they deserve to win.
i doubt if they can do that.
all year i've been saying that the indians have a good chance of winning the world series because in the end good pitching almost always beats good hitting.
reminds me of when the indians lost to atlanta when they had maddox and glavine. thing is that this year the tribe has four good starters (westbrook is better than record indicates - he was injured 1st half of year), and the bullpen is outstanding.

As for Manny, you gotta love him. Don't know if I'd want him on my team though - he's entertaining but I'm not sold on his team spirit.

too many wierd things have happened. from byrd being 1 strike away from a snow shortened no hitter home opener that was called for lack of visibility when hargrove started arguing. to second home opener being played in milwaukee. to actually sort of having 3 home openers. for me not to be complaining about the manager is weird in itself. to bugs coming out of nowhere to totally infest a game. for the yankees to put on bug spray that seemed to attract even more bugs. for us to have good pitching. seems like the twilight zone.
