3 straight blow outs in the ALCS? coming back from 3-1? we'll make a series out of this!

how is that going to work for boston? does big pappy play first base? i know that is probably an ignorant question, but i'm curious. easier to ask here than look it up on the internet.
congrats by the way.
another question, what were the boston fans chanting for the better part of the first several innings? it sounded like a sarcastic westbrook, westbrook, westbrook. could anyone make out what they were saying?

Ortiz will play first. I think you're right about the chant, sounded like Westbrook.
How did you guys feel about Millar throwing out the first pitch and introducing the line-up on T.V. The only thing that really bothered me about it, is that when he was refrencing the Red Sox he would say "us" or "we". He plays for Baltimore!!!

Lets not forget that the rockies won 2 out of 3 from Boston in Bean Town, earlier this year. We may have a good World Series after all.

a whole stadium sarcastically chanting westbrook, westbrook. how cute.
apparently sportsmanship isn't a big thing in boston.
just as bad, the whole boston team in the dugout making some sort of metal clanking noise for the last inning or two was pretty pathetic i thought.
anyway, go rockies.

Your just routing for the rockies because we beat ur precious rockies. see IF the indians won i definatly would have been routing for them because they WOULD have deserved it.
and u guys can have two hankicheifs and twirl them around but we cant chant? are u gunna ban chanting in the MLB?

the boston bullpen band ur upset with it? its been a long season and they cant have a little fun? are u just taking everying fun out of baseball?

I'm not sure about what the crowd was chanting. At one point it seemed like they were chanting "Lets go Red Sox" and I pretended it was "Lets go Westbrook."
That was such a depressing game for me, but I guess it saves me to trouble of watching the world series.
I think now I'll have to go with the Rockies. I suppose part of the reason is that the Sox took out Cleveland, but it is also nice to see new teams win. Unfortunately I have this feeling that the best series has already been played (Cleveland and Boston)

I really don't know, the rockies are full of future stars, maybe some will be made this series, like beckett was with florida a few years ago. I can think of one fireballing latin american right now who could establish his name with a couple of outings. His divelopement is simular to that of Beckett when he cam riding in.
But it all depends on how well they control ortiz, and manny. Or how ADD manny is. Boston should win, but I think that it would be pretty interesting.
I do agree, the "series" has been played as far as big name good baseball goes.
