Sorry little man. Read post number 157. That wasn't rude?
It is admirable that a kid your age is so in touch with the sports world, and passionate about your teams. I love to see that. This whole thread I have tried to be nice to you. However.... you keep pushing your team in everyones face and your not considering anyone's opinions! It's great to support your team, but don't be blind to reality dude (also refrencing your "Greatest sports town today" thread").
My whole point is this (please don't take offense to this), support your team, but don't be arrogant about it.
LET'S GO ROCKIES!!!!!!!!!!1

When i worked for the rangers on nights like that, we would litterally be running down this hall to the field, with 40 pound bags of the stuff, up stairs down the slanted tunnel. We would run out there use a whole pallet, then go to the next pallet and do the whole thing again. It was a work out. Sprinting with a 40 pound bag of dirt on your shoulder. Then you would have to run out on the field, fix the dang mount for the pitcher. carrying a twenty pound tamp. It is a mess. And you have to do this almost every inning.

I'm sure they pay a bit more being in the North East, but it was only 7 bucks an hour for the full time guys, and people like me, it was 30 bucks per game, Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining, that was THE BEST job I've ever had. But rain days sucked.

If they can't handle chants and razzing from fans, they need to get out of the game.
How is that any different than teams that boo players every time they come on the field or their name is called by the announcer. Fans razzing players is, and has ALWAYS been, part of baseball.
You act like Sox fans are the only fans that do this..... if that's what you think, you are SADLY mistaken.
oddly enough, that is what i thought. i never noticed it before. i remember when they did it to jaret wright several seasons ago, and how it obviously got to him big time. don't remember seeing it since then, and thought it was something particular to boston fans. my bad. anyway, time to move on. maybe i was trying to make some sort of excuse for our monumental collapse. the last time we had a collapse of this magnitude (in baseball anyway) was against boston.
chants are often particular to certain cities. in cleveland, our chant is always "we'll get 'em next year."

Talk about a contrast in styles of winning. 13-1 in game 1 & 2-1 in game 2.We can do it with offense OR with defense & pitching. (not that our defense didn't do very well in game 1.... just giving up 1 run).
2-0 headed for Colorado.
I don't expect a sweep, but I don't think that the series will get far enough to come back to Fenway.
GO SOX!!!!!!!

just giving you a hard time. i'm sure the sox are gonna win, hats off to 'em. at least the indians are a young team, so their rookies will have some experience under their belts for next year. hopefully we'll give the sox a run for their money next year.
just the same, go rockies.
