Mollies in saltwater?

How would someone go about aclimating mollies for saltwater living?

I did it the same way i do all salt fish aclimating. and my fish did really really good but my fish did not like it.

Should i use the drip method? or add them like i add all my other saltwater fish?

I let the bag float for 30 min then i open the bag poor some water out and poor some water in. Then i wait about 20 more minutes. Sometimes i will add more water during there 20 minutes.

My feelings on this, and I have never done it, although I did some reading on it. Is to set up a separate small tank and slowly add salinity gradually. From what I understand, the process takes 6-8 weeks. Remember, your taking a freshwater spieces and trowing them into the ocean. This is not done in a matter of a few hours.

I've done it a few times and I've never lost one.
I use an old salt bucket (5 or 6 gallons) with 2 gallons of fresh water and the Mollies.
Day 1 - Drip in 1/2 gallon of salt water
Day 2 - Drip in 1 gallon of saltwater
Day 3 - Remove 1 gallon from the bucket and drip in 2 gallons of salt water
Day 4 - Remove 2 gallons from bucket and drip in 2 gallons
Day 5 - add Mollies to full strength Saltwater
I've seen this process shortened to 1 day but I haven't tried it. It seemed to work.

I've always heard that a slow acclimation process worked best for these fish also.

Guy, I figure if you have done it a few times, you have a way that works, and I think that's great.
