molting question

My coral banded shcrip just molted do I leave its exoskeleton in the tank should I remove it would someting in my signature eat it. If its left in there will in throw off the balance of the tank.

I wouldn't worry about it. Leave it in, take it out. Doesn't make much difference.

i always take mine out
my cleaners molt like once a week!

That happens with my cleaner too. It molts like almost once a week. I am going to assume that this is a good thing because its growing. but i dont know how much bigger it can get, its already about 4 inches!! BTW, i leave my moltings in the tank because they are completely gone by the end of the next day. Bristle worms, hermits, and even my brittle star fight over it. The moltings are very high in calcium from what i understand. Someone correct me if i am wrong.

I leave molts in-- they usually get eaten by other crabs, shrimp etc.

I leave mine in as well. My Watchman Goby carries it around in his mouth - Kind of fun to watch actually!
