Now I may have done it. Ugh. I just feel awful. I posted a few days ago about how one of my feather dusters lost his crown. Well, I came to find out that the poor thing wasn't getting enough to eat and that I should start putting phytoplankton in my tank. Ok, fine. I also posted the question as to how I could tell if the thing was still alive and someone said to lightly squeeze his tube and if he jumps he is still alive. Well, I did that today and felt no jump, so I assumed he was dead. I pulled at the tube to take it out, but the tube felt like it was stuck on something. Stupid me tugged harder and pulled it out. Upon investigation, I realized I had taken the tube out and left the worm behind...alive with no tube!!!! I put the tube back in not knowing if he would find his way back in. What is going to happen to him now? Will he crawl back in his old tube? Create a new one? Die...? Ugh.
