That porcelain crab is at least twice the size of mine & yours has nice coloring. Mine is a blueish green (when I can see him) I'm definitely ordering my corals from SWF.com they look nice!

I have got to say that I have NEVER been disappointed in anything I recieved from SWF....And if I ever received something not up to par or dead...they have stood behind their guarantee....Ordering online no one can expect everything to arrive in 100% health...BUT the pieces I have recieved have been excellent...

I just wish they would expand their "Eye It Buy It" section to give us more of a selection.

LOL....I buy a lot of frags...cheaper..I order one nice coral each order though....but I get more stuff, and then hopefully they will grow fast

Does anyone know how long it takes for an umbrella mushroom to attach to a rock? I have it on a rock with netting and a rubberband.

I'd say give it a week. Probably less, if it's easy to get the net off check it about 3 days.

um..... from what i've read, pencil urchins are not reef safe. the Dr's web site says no, and SWF says to monitor them with corals. just didnt want em to munch on your new purchases.

They are in my refugium cause one ate a kenya tree out of my 54g....so I took the one out of my 225g also and put them in fuge....
The purple urchin touches nothing...I monitor it...LOL

Slate Pencil Urchin. Family Cidaridae. To 10.2 inches in diameter. Sea of Cortez to Ecuador and Galapagos Islands. Ten rows of 5-8 variously sharp/dull club-like spines. Feeds on benthic algae and Pocillopora and Pavona corals. Common in the Galapagos. Found on rocky shore shallows to 150 meters depth. Galapagos pic.
