More proof about new yorkers

Hey Hey, Not all people from NY are Aholes.. I am from NY born and raise here in Upstate. There are some good people that live here, Yes I will say that most of the time NY sucks, because of high taxes and such. I do live in a small town, but come on you can no class all people living in NY as the same, there are many good people that live here. I know that when you get into the bigger cities that people are much different, but that is the way it is most places.

I am sure there are fans in other states....YES MONSINOUR....OTHER STATES...that are just as obnoxious
Not that you like football but here are a few stories to get you all riled up:
@ Penn State not too long ago a few OSU fans decided to park away from the stadium and walk to the game. Unfortuantly they chose to walk behind fraternity row. There is a youtube video (if it hasnt been taken down yet) that was shot by the moronic nitny lamers of them throwing beer bottles, cans, sticks and stones at these poor fellows walking to the game. Needless to say, the fraterity that finally accepted responsibility for it was placed on double secret probation. Yes basically nothing really happened to them.
@ Wisky a little longer ago during another OSU game the Wisky band had premade lots and lots of "pee bags" for the sole purpose of tossing at the team and fans from OSU. Yes "pee bags" are exactly what you are thinking. The band was suspended from 2 games that season and not too long ago the band got too drunk for its own good and was suspended from the bowl game and the following seasons first road game.
We all know what Philly fans are capable of, poor santa claus. And have you seen footage of the Patriot fans during that snow playoff game against the raiders? There were quite a few raider fans there that left the game with welts from snow/ice balls being thrown at them. Am I suprised that a few Brooklynites got too drunk for their own good and spat on someone? No. The better question is once they found out who it was, did they continue to spit? My guess is yes as drunk idiots are the same no matter where they are.
Personal experience? OK I got one. I lived in Knoxville TN for a while and they had an ECHL team there that finally made the playoffs after a long time of sucking. Their first round opponent? The Toledo Storm. So yea, there was no way I wasnt going to see that game. I paid good money to get seats on the ice next to where the Storm would come on and off the ice during the intermission. Needless to say, the Storm won the only game played in Knoxville (game 3 of a best of 5 that toledo won the first 2) and I was cheering my head off yelling and screaming for the storm. At the end of the game, when the Chiefs' were down a goal and had pulled their goalie, the storm scored an empty netter. I of course celebrated heavily with my 1st wife next to me. We were estatic with our storm gear on and all. Then out of no where, I got all wet from above. I look to see a 60 something old lady (I say old cuz of the purple hair. I know 60 aint old, but whats with the purple hair?) shaking her beer glass over my head. The Rink side seats were about 10 below the normal seats. You have to see Knoxville Civic Center to understand how it works. I choose to stay calm and contimue to celebrate while walking over to the usher. He obviously does nothing (it was the end of the game). So as the storm make their way off the ice, I stick my hand out to high-five as many of the players as I can. The captain of the team at the time handed me the game puck! It was worth the warm beer on my head to celebrate the Storm's victory! And yes, I still have that puck.
Edit: I forgot to include the ohio idiots. At the 2004 game against meatchicken, some really moronic OSU fans decided to heckle Llllllyod (6 L's for his losses to OSU, LOL) Carr when he got off the bus before the game. It got really really bad. SO bad that the following game that was played in C-Bus, Llllllyod asked for extra security to walk into the stadium. He got it and this time the OSU fans didnt heckle him at all. They actually formed a barrior to assist the state troopers to escort Llllllyod into the stadium. I am sure there are other times when some OSU fans have been moronic and I know it happens everywhere. You take the good with the bad.
For me, I have seen more bad than good since moving to this god forsaken sh!t hole 7 years ago.

Well maybe it just the area that you are in that is a god forsaken sh!t hole, Because you can not base the whole state on one area. Its just like I have friends that live in other states Ohio, Miss, Ala, FL, CA, NC, PA, and TX that say the same thing about those states. SO, I tell them if you don't Like it there, move find a New Place to live and when they say I cant or No I dont want to do that, I tell them then Suck it up and and Quit Your B!tching, because if you are not going to take yourself out of the situation then it cant be all that bad!!!!!!

I cant move due to finances. We couldnt get a loan for another house and in this economy we really couldnt sell the house we are in. I am stuck here because the wife loves the area. At best I could hope for is a move to Hershy PA but the economy there is horrid and the grooming prices are half what she charges here. Its not about taking a pay cut as half of zero is still zero.
When I say I hate NY let me tell you waht all I have done to distance myself as much as I can:
I didnt switch my drivers license until I got my first ticket for expired tags
Those tags were ohio plates and I still had 1 month left before the law would require me to switch to NY plates. The case was thrown out of court
I have yet to register to vote
I have nothing in my name in NY
While I love my kids to pieces, it breaks my heart that they were born in NY
I do know that there are different parts to a state and no two places in a state are the same, save maybe rhode island. However, down state citiots should go ahead an ceceed from the rest of the state. Of all the tax $ that are collected for welfare, 80% are sent to the 7 bouroghs. I would imagine that the rest of the tax $ for the other special programs (healthy child NY et al.) are split up the same way, 20% for the rest of the state and 80% down to the city. Even the people here where i live are so into themselves that it boggles my mind. The merge sign on the freeway is more of a suggestion to these people. When I see someone getting on the on ramp and I have room in the lane next to me I move over, if there is no room, I slow down to let them on. When I am trying to merge onto the freeway, I had better have a really fast car or pray that there is an opening. Since I lived in the south for a while, the customs have kinda stuck with me and I hold open doors for anyone. I always get a suprised "thank you" from everyone I hold the door for. Even when I leave stores or what not, when my hands are full, no one holds the door for me. Theres a song that goes "its all about me, its all about me. I am the only one who matters" and that is the theme song for the people native to NY. I can see now why so many northerners move south. Its not for the weather, its to get away from their neighbors.

When you place people in high concentration you get a higher concentration of A-holes and living in higher concentrations leads to A-holish behavior. It's self feeding like nuclear fission
You see the same morons in every megatropolis.

Comes with living in a Historic District and I guarentee you that something similar would happen in any town across the USA that has a Homeowners Association.

Dude, give it a rest already. You live outside of Albany, which is pretty much the armpit of NY. Have you even been to any other areas like the Southern Tier (some of the most beautiful Parks, waterfalls and gorges in the country) or up North along the Vermont or Canadian border? How about Long Island, which has some of the best beaches in the world?

I understand exactly were Monsouir is Coming from. I drove OTR for 4 years and to put it to you Mildly . I would have Gone Into Downtown BAGDHAD in a Fully Loaded Fuel Truck with a Bullseye Painted on the trailer in the Height of the Invasionwith a Sign that said in Arabic painted on the side that MoHammed was GAY on the side also. Than go into NYC the 3 times I had to go into NYC because I had to since I had to PU a load from JFK Airport or Drop a load at Hunts point lets see here. 1st load into the Point get there Trailer had double Cable Seals also had 2 Bolt Seals on it 2 Bar locks on it was hauling US Kobe Style beef so I Value Load get there freaking trailer had been Broken into and 10 cases stolen. 2nd time in I had to go to JFK had a Brand NEW trailer Sucker came out looking like a Freaking Taxi cab on the Bottom since all the Cabbies thought they could Fit under me. 17 Differant cabs HIT me that day. 3rd trip was no Picnic either to JFK on the way out Someone put a Baseball Through my freaking Passenger Window.
Upstate Ny is no picnic either try having some PUNK Teenagers as a Joke put a 1700 lb Cement filled tire in the middle of the Road in a dark area. I smacked it doing 55 Destroyed my Front end. Did over 5K dollars damage to my Brand new truck took out my Front Bumper Bent the Front Axle Both Tie Rods and the Right Frame Rail. The kids were found and Charged with 2 counts of Attempted Murder since it was a team operated truck. The only thing that made the police happy was it was a Semi that hit it not a Chevy Caviler or a Motorcylce. There are 2 States anymore that alot of drivers refuse to run NY and CA why they are so anti Business and Very Anti Truck. NY expects you to freeze in the winter and CA wants you to cook in the summer. Yet they give more rights to a Dog than a man that is in charge of 80K lbs of truck that hauls Explosives or other Haz-Mats.

Trust me I do have some things I love. My Wife and my Family for one. My home cooking I make a Beef Stroganoff that was entered by my mother in her Hospital Home Cooked Meals cook off. It won First Prize. I have a Cake Recipie that when I make it lets just say I do not have to worry about leftovers. I also enjoy my tanks ye they are hard to keep sometimes however the joy they give is worth it. Then there is gaming give me my Fafnair on Mechwarrir4 and look out since the next thing your going to see is Sky. Darth I do have a few joys in my life it is just I have seen the worst in so many things and people that for me it is hard to see anygood at time. When you see as much Death as I have when you see people torn apart because they suicide dive a truck peel their skin off scream for an hour as your holding thm in your arms they are Begging to die. Then you have to lie to their mother to make her feel good instead of telling her that no he died because he cut of the truck in front of me doing 100MPH on his Motorcylce then peeled his skin off. Why do you think I am covered in his BLOOD. Trust me Darth you do not want to be in the chair across from my butt when I am in mine. I have driven 3 Shrinks to quit during the treatment of me. I survive because I have to and I want to no one is going to make me want to end my life before it ends when it is over.
Darth here is what I have survived since I devloped Epilepsy 2 Massive Strokes including a Basal Artey Bleeder think what killed Dale Sr I walked away from one of those. An electric shock were they think I took 220 volts and 60 amps yet I survived. Then we have my Ex-Wife that beat me down into such a shell that 5 years later I finally am becoming the person I was before I met her. My wife of 4 years and my 3 kids have been the biggest help in that respect. Try loosing everything you have multiple times and getting up and going is that all you freaking have that is me. I am never going to quit if I had quit I would have died in 2001 and I know I have alot more to give to this world.
