Most expensive LFS buys

So what are the most outrageous prices you've seen for things at a LFS? Lets see here- today I went to Petland and they wanted $44.99 for a cleaner shrimp. $90 for a derasa clam about 1.5 inches in length. They also had a price tag of $50 on one frilly green mushroom. This place is ridiculous! I could name to many more but won't!

a 1 inch clown fish for a whopping 25 bucks and a 10 inch snowflake for 80 dollars

When I was new to the hobby and had finished cycling my tank, the LFS I thought could be trusted suggested that I get a pair of clowns. $75.00 for a pair of freaking clownfish!! He told me that clowns don't pair up in captivity and convinced me to get them!
They're still alive (thank God) but I quit going to that LFS and found one that seemed to know more in the hobby.

Really? Up around Soutnern Pines NC in a little pet store they had them for $25 which I thought was pretty good! It was a pretty small town too.

Yep, marine fish are expensive here in the Twin Cities.

200 for a BLACK TANG is pretty good

$30 for a 1" clown. (set price)
$45 for a fire shrimp
$45 for a yellow tang
I haven't bought any fish there in a while...

2 little goldfish-about $2.50. This purchase, however, started me down the never ending road to SWF. . . . . . .
. . . .and many $$ later. . . .well, you all know the rest of the story.

You probaly go to A World of Fish and Something Fishy, The one of the most exspensive in the cities, and A World of Fish has the worst service ever. If you ever are in Brooklyn Park check out Fish N Friends off of Easth 85th Street, in the Jubilee shopping center next to Hollywood Video.

Needless to say i didnt actually buy any of these...
OH yeah. and a 20 gallon long with no holes drilled or anything... $50
