I am looking to get my fish a good diet. I feed them frozen brine, cut up krill, veggie flakes and regular saltwater flakes. The question is what's the. Most nutritional form of frozen food?
Definitely not brine....Frozen Mysis, marine cuisine, emerald entree.....as a matter of fact they sell a saltwater multi pack that has the marine cuisine, emerald entree, spirulina and squid....

would live brine be ok as a form of "treat" for the fish? or is brine just not good to give them at all?

LOL....I am no food expert....I go by what I read....I think live is better than frozen, but you can also enrich it by putting vitamins in the brines water
Hope that helps..lol....
p.s. I think also as a "treat" it's fine....I use it....I saw it compared once to a potato chip..
P.E. Mysis is super super high in Protein, far more so than any other food, almost 85% protein I think. It messes up my skimmer for hours though, so I only give it a couple times a week.
A balanced diet is the way to go though.

Perhaps just an important question as what food's the best, is what types of fish are you feeding?
I have two clowns, royal gamma and a fire fish.
